The Municipal Unit of Platanias consists of the municipal sections of Vlacheronitissas, Vrysson, Zounakiou, Kontomariou, Kyparissou, Maleme, Manoliopoulou, Modiou, Ksamoudochoriou, Platanias, Syrili and Gerani.
