Balos Lagoon

In Chania of Crete on the north side and west of Chania you will find the exotic beach of Balos. You can reach Balos by car and on foot or by the daily cruise ship that departs daily from the port of Kissamos.

Balos beach is known for its turquoise waters, wild natural beauty and beautiful exotic landscape. During the summer, Balos is visited by thousands of people. If you want to avoid the crowd do not visit in July and August. The perfect time to visit is early in the morning.
