General Information of the Municipal Unit of Armeni

The Municipal Unit belongs geographically to the province of Apokoronas and consists of the municipal districts: Kalyves, Armenous, Neo Chorio, Stylos, Ramni, Kares, Macharoi and the settlements of Tsivara, Provarma, Samona, Chiliomoudou, Kyriakogelia and Faragogelia. The largest area of ​​the Municipality is covered by pastures (55%). 36% of the area is occupied by cultivated areas. During the summer months, guests can enjoy a swim at the award-winning beaches of Maistrali and Xyda of Kalyves or those of Glaros, the C Κυte d’Azur and Kera. In the picturesque port of the Municipality there are hotels of high standards for the service of even the most demanding visitors while taverns and cafes are offered for fun during the evening outings.
