The gorge of Imbros is located in Sfakia, Chania. It starts from the village of Imvros near the Askifos plateau and ends after 5 km (three hours walking) near the beach of Frangokastello.
The route is fantastic and not at all boring as the landscape is constantly changing. In the beginning the landscape is flat without walls, thus giving everyone the opportunity to admire the variety of flora and fauna.
Then the walls rise and in some places reach a height of 300 meters. Continuing we observe the walls approaching each other reaching a distance of up to two meters giving the impression that you are in an underground tunnel.
The scene at the finish day is approaching again, approaching the beach of Frangokastello.
